Quote: "Storms make oaks take roots." Proverb
The quote above is a proverb I found this morning and truly believe in. It really is the storms in our lives that enable us to take root and learn to take control of our lives. If you are struggling with you diet plan rest assured that you are not the only one and that once you get through this struggle you will be well on your way to a healthier more vibrant you!
Good morning everyone, I know it has been sometime since I have posted and I apologize for that. I have been very busy getting ready for the meet in the Czech Republic.
To people who have purchased my shirts and made donations through my blog I thank you very much. Without your help this would not have been possible. I have trained well and had some great help with my training. I want to thank:
Johnny O
Dyke Naughton of Cutting Edge Sports Sciences in Albany NY
and Sebastian Burns in Queesnbury NY
Thank you gentlemen. You have all taught me some valuable lessons.
I also want to thank the sponsors of the benefit I had on the 29th of April.
The Band Hallertau
Statik
Legit Potato
The Stumps
Trick Shots Billiards & Sports Pub
Parkway Music
Zaika's
Venezia Pizza and Pasta
Rebalance Massage Therapy
Cutting Edge Sports Sciences
American Eagle Outfitters -
The Meat House
Bruegger's
Now to the week ahead. I woke this morning to a 163.8 body weight which is good. I only have an eighth of a pound to lose by next Wednesday. A full week away to lose that pound and I will not have to dehydrate myself to make weight. Then comes the tricky part of keeping it there.
For those looking for an exercise program to follow try one of these.
Beginners Workout
Intermediate Workout
Advanced Workout
Have a great workout!

Jim,
ReplyDeleteLove the proverb as I've found this to be true in my life.
I hope you have a great time and do well in the Czech.
I have a seperate question. I started Atkins about 2 months ago and was doing well. I'm on OWL and have added a few things back in 5g or less. I've also made a couple of desserts with splenda and am seeing a slow down in my loss. I was getting 2lbs in 3-4 days and now its looking like 2 lbs in 2 weeks. Its really frustrating. Sometimes I wonder if I'm not getting enough calories but they seem to be about the same as before. Also I've upped my fat intake a little and I'm not sure if that is good or bad. Is there any way to find out how many grams of carbs/fat/protien I should be getting in a day based on my weight and height etc? My pertentage is nomally 60% fat, 30 protien, and 10 carb if not less.
Thanks for any advice in advance.
chicadee,
ReplyDeleteSend me an email. Really though think of this way instead. If you lose a pound a week that is 52 pounds in a year and you are more likely to keep it off that way than if you lose it to fast. Also I would need to know you level of exercise you are currently at and what is your current net carb level.
